Control Panels should be intuitive for both novices and advanced users and should have all the options needed in order to run your site seamlessly. The features should be easy to find and use and arranged in a logical manner.
Reliability/Up-time
A web host does you no good if they can’t keep your web site up and running. This is another differentiator that must be considered when choosing a web hosting company. Again, generally the larger hosting companies have enough resources to ensure that they keep their servers online. Smaller hosting companies usually resell hosting through a larger provider so this may be taken care of here as well. The riskiest choice may be the mid-sized hosting company that doesn’t have state-of-the-art hardware and security teams. Issues such as DDoS attacks, hardward failure, etc. need to be resolved quickly. Some hosts simply don’t have the technical acumen to keep their servers online.
